When you arrive on the CSM campus...

Your first stop can be ASA Meeting Registration in Maple Hall (Thursday) or the Student Center (Friday).  If you've signed on for a lodging and/or meal package, room keys and meal cards can be picked up at Lodging Registration in Maple Hall.

The entire state of Colorado is in the Mountain Time Zone. Within the state, weather can vary greatly from location to location, day to day, and even hour to hour. In the summer, cool mornings and afternoon thunderstorms are common. You can check weather forecasts for Denver at Weather Underground and The Weather Channel.
 


Traveling to the 2017 Annual Conference

by CAR

From Denver and Points East:

  1. Drive west on I-70.
  2. Take exit 262 for US 40 West / West Colfax Ave toward US 6.
  3. Drive 1.1 miles, then turn right onto US 6 West.
  4. Drive 2.5 miles, then turn right on 19th Street.

From the intersection of US 6 West and 19th Street:

  1. Go 500 feet, then turn left onto Elm Street and immediately turn left again into a commuter parking lot.
  2. If that lot is full, continue on Elm Street 500 feet, then turn right on 18th Street and immediately turn right again into a general parking lot.
  3. If that lot is full, drive back out Elm Street, turn left on 19th Street, drive 1000 feet, turn left on Illinois Street, then turn left into Lot E (general parking).

  1. Drive east on I-70.
  2. Take exit 260 toward US 6 West / 6th Ave. Drive through the cloverleaf (see inset map) and follow signs for US 6 West / 6th Ave. Merge onto US 6 West.
  3. Drive 1.7 miles, then turn right on 19th Street.
  4. Follow directions given above for "From the intersection of US 6 West and 19th Street".

From New Mexico and Points South:

  1. Drive north on I-25.
  2. Take exit 194 to merge onto CO 470 West toward Grand Junction.
  3. Drive 27.2 miles, then keep left and follow signs toward US 6 West / 6th Ave / Boulder. Merge onto US 6 West.
  4. Drive 1.7 miles, then turn right on 19th Street.
  5. Follow directions given above for "From the intersection of US 6 West and 19th Street".

From Wyoming and Points North:

  1. Drive south on I-25.
  2. Take exit 216 to merge into I-76 West toward Grand Junction.
  3. Drive 5.5 miles, then merge onto I-70 West.
  4. Follow directions given above for "From Denver and Points East".

by PLANE

When you land at Denver International Airport, you can either rent a car or take the train to get to Golden. (Shuttle service from DIA to Golden is also available but not recommended, as the train is nearly as fast for a fraction of the cost.)

by TRAIN

All passenger trains arrive in Denver at Union Station. Follow instructions for "To take the train to Golden", Step 2, above.
